Yoga is the practice that ties my work, creativity and life together. I have been a student of yoga for over 10 years and in 2013 I completed my Yoga Teacher Training (RYT 200 Yoga Alliance Accreditation) in Hatha and Vinyasa Flow. My studies included asana with Iyengar alignment principles, mindfulness, pranayama, Yin Yoga, restorative yoga, yoga nidra and yoga philosophy.
I have regularly travelled to India to study with many authentic Yoga and Meditation teachers over the past few years. In 2016 I travelled to Mysore in India to practice Ashtanga at KPJAYI and in 2014 I studied Tibetan Buddhist Meditation (Mindfulness/Shamatha) at the Tushita Centre in McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala in Northern India.
I teach privately around London and at several studios, I also run workshops a few times a year. I cover classes at Yoga Base in Islington and at several gyms. My approach is a friendly, supportive, insightful practice that will strengthen both the body and mind.
